Refund Policy
What can be refunded, what the airline decides, and how to get your money back — in plain language.

01How refunds work
Every fare we display is governed by the airline's own fare rules, which are shown on the fare review page before you commit — specifically whether the fare allows a refund before departure. Those airline rules decide what can be refunded and what fees or fare differences apply.
Refunds are made to the original payment method used for the booking. Tickets are issued by the airline, so refund approval and processing happen through the airline.
02Refundable fares
If the fare conditions say a refund is allowed, you can request one any time before departure. Airline fees may apply, and if the ticket has been used partly, the airline recalculates the fare for the used portion and refunds the difference.
03Non-refundable fares
Many discounted fares cannot be refunded at all if you choose to cancel. Even then, some taxes and government fees included in the ticket price may still be recoverable — ask our support team and we will check with the airline.
04Airline cancellations and major schedule changes
If an airline cancels your flight or makes a significant change to it and you do not accept the alternative it offers, you are generally entitled to a refund of the unused ticket regardless of the fare type. Contact us as soon as you hear about the change and we will handle the request with the airline.
0524-hour booking flexibility
For flights to or from the United States, airlines generally must let you cancel without penalty within 24 hours of booking, provided the booking was made at least 7 days before departure. Tell us within that window if you change your mind.
06Processing timelines
Once a refund is approved, airlines generally must process credit card refunds within 7 business days (20 business days for other payment methods) under U.S. Department of Transportation rules. Airlines outside the U.S. follow their own timelines, which we will confirm with you when we lodge the request.
07Situations that are not refundable
- Missed flights — if you do not board, the airline treats the ticket as used and later segments can be cancelled without refund.
- Refused travel because of missing or invalid travel documents, such as a passport or visa.
- Name corrections after ticketing, where the airline does not allow them or charges a fee.
- Airline fees for optional extras, such as seats or extra baggage, under that airline's own policy.
08How to request a refund
Contact our 24/7 support team by phone or email with the booking reference, the traveller's name, the travel dates, and the reason for the refund. We will confirm what the fare rules allow, lodge the request with the airline, and keep you updated until the refund reaches your payment method.
